Dental Anesthesia and Pain Medicine
The Department of Dental Anesthesia and Pain Medicine take part in general anesthesia for operative patients, and dental sedation/pain control for dental patients and emergency care. The management of general anesthesia consists of preanesthetic visit, intraoperative care, patients monitoring, postanesthetic care and postoperative pain control. Dental sedation/pain control consists of patient monitoring, postsedation care, sedative titration and airway management. In addition, we carry out emergency care and education. Education for emergency care consists of regular training course (BLS and ACLS) and practice using manikin simulators.
