Bringing up creative architects and architectural engineers that perform locally and globally architecture transparent to the real life .

The educational goal of the department is based upon synergetic combination of respect for humanity regarded as an essence of architecture with value-free transformation and development considered as essences of technology.

In order to achieve the above objective, the following preconditions are required:

1) Architecture is more transparent to the real life.

2) Life is to be interpreted not as abstract or superficial but as complex owing to the influence on interfacial space of life.

3) By making interfacial space between culture/nature, art/technology, architecture/technology, de-genre phenomena are acceleratedly increased.

4) The simultaneous recovering of locality and globalization in architecture will make a big progress.

5) If Korean architecture is unconditionally subject to the recent international trend, the ability of competition in architecture design will be decreased
